Lily was a very special lady, who warmly welcomed David and I into her home. She always put on a magnificent spread, fit for a king. I was particularly appreciative of her words of comfort when I was unwell. Witty and fun loving, we enjoyed her company immensely.

Me and mum have very special memories of the afternoons that we used to spend with Lily and Melanie round their house. Lily would always have a smile on her face and welcome us into her home. From the delicious homemade food to the great company, me and mum loved the time that we spent with Lily. These memories will stay with us forever and Lily will always be in our hearts. Joe xx

I loved my chats with Lily when I was visiting Melanie. She was so with it and interesting. Anyone know who Will Champion is? Hope, nor did I . Well he was Lily's favourite drummer!! ....... he's the drummer in Coldplay. Makes me smile every time I think about it 😁 You will be greatly missed Lily. You were one amazing lady xxxx

Thoughts of Lily, what can I say? She liked Cold Play, bless her, and I have to say it's not everyone that has the band they like release a new song so suitable, at such a time, it's called "A Higher Power" about someone who has very special qualities, just like Lily. As we all agree, she was an extremely special lady, blessed with a shrewd wit and an intriguing, loveable and mischievous smile which lit up a room. She will be missed. Sleep gently Lily. Marilyn
